It is the world of the continent of Asia, China in particular, against the world of the continent of Australia as the former (China) tells the latter to take the blame for the terrible condition or deterioration of the bond that once existed between them.
The bond between the two countries became worse when Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison in April called for an international inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic. The Chinese government felt this was a political manipulation coming from Morrison. Hence, the exportation of products from Australia to China from that period till now has not been without obstacles.
They are currently facing high tariffs, anti-subsidy investigations, and lengthy delays clearing customs.
The two countries are however on the move to resolve trade tensions. They would sign Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). This would help to resolve the dispute between the two governments, without any of them compromising values, security, and interests.
