Mr Ajibade Adekunle is presently Sango-Ota Area Commander for TRACE (The Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps)
While speaking to newsmen via his partner, Mr. Ajibade Adekunle, he urged motorists to shun night trips in order to avoid the numerous road accidents that happen, especially during festive season. According to him, accidents during night trips may lead to instant death. This is because assistance during that time of the day is slim as most people are either fast asleep or off the road.
To reduce the high rates of accidents in the country, he advised that people should ensure that their vehicles are in good condition, maintain average speed of 50km/per hour during, before and after the ember months at construction zones, and people should not flout traffic rules and regulations or use their phones while driving.
