His fall on the “Grass” has lifted him to “Grace”: Footballer, Christian Eriksen now appointed…

Either the name “Christian” or Psalm “141 verse 5” or “both” ” is working for the Danish professional footballer, Christian Dannemann Eriksen.

If you recall, Christian Dannemann Eriksen on Saturday, 12th June 2021 slumped on the field during a European Championship (EURO 2020) match. Eriksen was playing for his country- Denmark when this happened. His team who appeared in red and white sportswear was playing against the Finland team who appeared in blue and white sportswear.

His slump happened 43 minutes into the game, and Denmark’s captain, Simon Kjær, quickly attended to Eriksen before medics arrived. His teammates gathered around him, prayed for him, as well as shielded him from the camera, as medics performed Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). After a while, he was carried off on a stretcher. As he was carried off, the whole stadium chorused his name to show support for the midfielder.

The players from his team, the Finland team, and all his fans all over the world were worried about his condition. The match was then suspended for about two hours but then resumed after a message on the quick recovery of Christian was disseminated.

Denmark’s team doctor, Morten Boesen said “Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest and “was gone” before he was resuscitated. We got him back after one defib (Oxygen). That’s quite fast,”

Eriksen also shared with his fans via his Instagram account that he was better now. View his post below:

“Hello everyone, big thanks for your sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world. It means a lot to me and my family. I am fine under the circumstances. I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay. Now, I will cheer on the boys on the Denmark team in the next matches. Play for all of Denmark. Best Christian”

If you ask me, I would say Christian Eriksen’s fall on the Grass has lifted him to Grace. He has found so much Grace in the sight of God and among people living on the surface of the earth. Either the name “Christian” or Psalm “141 verse 5” is working for him.

I know you just checked out Psalm 141 verse 5. You can’t relate it right? It is because I just wanted to share that verse with you #winks

3. His last two posts on Instagram have generated over 200, 000 thousand comments each.

4. Since Finland and Denmark’s teams agreed to continue the game after his fall, Eriksen was named player of the match, after Denmark lost to Finland, 1-0.

5. He has been appointed as ambassador of an energy drink- Statedrinks, which he also co-owns with Carowozniacki What y’all think?
