“Mera Na” is a song by Indian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, known professionally as Sidhu Moose. He featured Burnaboy, Stell Banglez, and Navkaran Brar.
Mera Na is another song posthumously released by Sidhu Moose Wala after his assassination in the Northern Indian state of Punjab on Sunday, 29th May 2022.
According to India.com [Kindly scroll down for the link], Sindhu was shot dead by attackers who allegedly had a political feud with him. His death came after the Punjab government removed the security of 424 VIPs, including Sidhu’s, in an exercise to crack down on VIP culture.
The song premiered a few weeks ago. It was produced by Steel Banglez. It is off the album “Mera Na.”
“Mera Na” is an Indian word that means “My Name.”
