(+WIINERS) WHY MASTER KG DEFEATED BURNA BOY, AND OTHER AFRICANS IN THE MTV BEST AFRICAN ACT?
The MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) is an annual award that honors artists and great music in pop culture. Typical of the award organizers, another was conducted this year on Sunday, 8th November 2020.
The award comes in various categories; but the most talked about category among Africans is “The Best African Act.”
This year’s award for “Best African Act” was not won by a Nigerian, even though they have won the award back to back from 2016- 2019. Wizkid won in 2016, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Burnaboy in 2017, 2018, 2019 respectively.
The Jerusalema crooner “Master KG” from South Africa won the award this time around. Master KG is a terrific record producer with dope beats and lyrics. His zeal, skills and extra effort he put in producing his tracks paved a way for him at the MTV EMA Awards.
